For those who think swans lack of support for an app is well deserved need to wait no more! The company Hikvison actually makes these cameras. They make the same app just disguised under a different name and is now update to fully support ios8. Search for ivms-4500 in the App Store. This app is updated regularly and works with swans system. Use this from now on guys!

I bought six systems for my businesses. The cameras are great, but main reason I bought them was to see cameras from iPhone, but the app is useless! It always crashes or fails to connect. I am very disappointed!

I am a homeowner and purchased a Swann camera system from Best Buy. Getting the cameras viewable on this app was a breeze. HOWEVER, the inconsistency is unacceptable! Like someone else said, you have a great product in your cameras. Pay a real developer to create a good app!

I called Swann & all you get is someone in India. They said its insufficient memory on my phone. I HAVE A BRAND NEW IPHONE 4s WITH 64gb OF MEMORY!! How is it my phone??? This app is garbage & I hate speaking to someone over the phone who can barely speak English!!

Worst app ever!!

This is the only app I have on my standard non-jailbroken 64GB phone that routinely gives me out of memory errors. I have the same error on multiple devices. I have purchased hundreds of apps. (Only some are on my phone.) This one doesn’t know how to play nice. Instead of compensating for lack of memory and recovering gracefully, my list of selected cameras are also lost when it gives this error. I have to force quit the app and reload. Whatever programmatically happens at the manual force quit and reload should be added to the app initialization. A force quit and reload does not immediately have the lack of memory error.

The app is decent. It has pretty good picture and video playback is pretty easy. Just to Clear some confusion in the review section though, when it says out of MEMORY. MEMORY refers to the Random. Access. Memory. A.K.A. RAM. Some people are talking about storage. The amount of storage is the amount of disk space on their iPhone. To fix the out of memory bug just try restarting your iPhone. By doing that it usually will Clear out your cache which might solve the problem.

the app is horrible. I cant see live video its actually a snapshot every 2 seconds. when i look at the time stamp I know its every 2 seconds. constantly freezing. App needs major overhaul. If I knew this would have gone with a different company.

Why have you not updated this app since 2013? I purchased a system that was manufactured in March of 2015 so this app should support the device and the device should support the functions in the app! IOS 9 is in use now. This app has a lot of bugs. I put all this time and money into installing this system but now I have to pull it all out to return. All I can say is unbelievable! I have the SWDVK-845008-US

I like everything about it but docent work with WIFI no a good thing

Never gets updates. Last one was for ios7!

This app is only good for one thing... Live viewing. No playback, no zoom, no pan/tilt, no adjustments of any kind.

It seems the app no longer works with the latest iPhone 6 upgrade...... Every time I upgrade the phone I become more frustrated with Apple....why does everything have to change......

This app is so frustrating. You would think Swann would have an app that actually worked with their surveillance system. This app takes forever to open and when it finally does it only opens one or two camera views at time. It constantly freezes and crashes, the playback, zoom, and focus options dont work. Great ideas for an app if it only worked:/ Please update your app or Swann get another app for your system! So far its worthless

I seriously want my money back for entire system because this App does not work. I purchased to view remotely only to find they didnt bother to make sure it really works! Defeats the purpose of using Swann. Freezing cameras, unable to load outside of WIFI, slow and out of date!

I had this app before but it was the swann view plus . Let me tell you this app non stop crashes and when it loads it loads two cameras then crashes right after so aggravating please fix i didnt spend 800+ on my surveilance system for people to design a program like idiots . Please fix the bugs

It looks like there are 6 different apps for the Swann security camera system, all rated fairly low. They look like they have nice optics and initial design why not put the effort into better working development?

Local live viewing works. Recorded viewing does not. Remote viewing over the internet does not, even after trying every port forwarding combination with my Apple Airport Extreme. The hardware seems nice, but this software is pretty awful.

App pretty much useless at this point. No longer loads cameras.

Keeps crashing with "insufficient memory". iPhone 6S with 128GB memory running iOS 9.2.
